The metabolic chip Bionas DiscoveryTM SC1000 

is manufactured with standard technologies and undergoes extensive quality management procedures to guarantee highest quality standards. The chip includes sensors for measuring dynamic changes of acidification activity and oxygen consumption and for monitoring cell impedance / adhesion.
ISFETs are used to measure acidification rates. Modified clark-type sensors measure the oxygen consumption of cells in the medium. Interdigitated electrode structures (IDES) are continuously monitoring cell impedance.
